The New Student Orientation Program gives all entering first year students the opportunity to examine their academic abilities, interests, and educational plans before their first semester of classes.

The Division of Undergraduate Studies is pleased to work with you as you prepare for your first semester as a Penn Stater!

Students complete initial orientation activities on-line and finish the activities in two mandatory on-campus events.  The first will be scheduled for you and will occur in June or July.  The second, Orientation Too!, will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013.  Again, all orientation programs are mandatory.

Once you accept your offer of admission to attend Penn State Greater Allegheny, you will receive a post card directing you to our New Student Orientation web site.

After we receive the results of your Educational Planning Survey, and your placement tests, we will invite you to an on-campus academic advising event.

To prepare for your on-campus advising event, you will need to complete the FTCAP homework assignments found on the right-side of this page.
