Are you an adult learner?

An adult learner is 24 years of age or older; or a veteran of the armed services; or a person returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity; or a person who assumes multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, and employee.

Why Greater Allegheny?

Our campus offers seven bachelor's degrees that can be completed at Penn State Greater Allegheny, along with the first two years of most of Penn State's 160-plus majors. Adult learners may enroll as part-time or full-time students and can choose from day and evening classes, and most programs also offer some online or hybrid courses to add scheduling flexibility. Numerous certificate programs are also available.

The department provides comprehensive resources to help students, from choosing a career; to finding an internship; to applying for a job; to changing to a new career.

Parking on campus is free with registration, with many spaces close to each campus building.

Students received free access accounts that provide email and access to the many services offered by Penn State.  The Greater Allegheny campus is 100% wireless. The Computer Center in Crawford Building is open six days a week during Fall and Spring semesters.
